“JAKES on the Common” will be nestled at the foot of the iconic Chapman’s Peak Drive, in a beautifully designed, purpose built restaurant building. Landscaped gardens and plenty of secure parking makes it a family friendly destination restaurant. The restaurant will be stylishly decorated with comfortable funky furnishings and plenty of detail without being intimidating.

With a buzzing coffee culture in the valley, wholesome uncomplicated breakfasts will be served from early mornings. Another perfect spot for Cape Town’s lycra clad cyclists and trail runner’s along with family and friends to meet. Lunch will be served all day in the restaurant and garden, with the subtle transition into a stylish, smart casual & social vibe in the evenings. Our sophisticated & vibrant BAR & LOUNGE will be the perfect spot to enjoy fine wine, craft beers and exotic cocktails!

After a spectacular renovation to the restaurant bar and building, Jakes in Kenilworth is buzzing with atmosphere, packed with friends, family and business colleagues entertainment and enjoying a festive dining experience.

The stylish designed restaurant and bar is wrapped around the shady Brazilian pepper tree in the garden. The restaurant opens up and tis great for all fresco lunches and bustling evenings. The crowds are sophisticated, yet relaxed and enjoy the global cuisine, efficient service and vibrant atmosphere.
